Another way you could try is using the lightmass AO to blend the grass texture over top of your rocks, so in theory it would gather around the darker areas against the cliffside

something like this could work too

Thanks man! This seems to work best in a different style of game, we've tried it every which way in our game and it looks bad every time :') We've decided to add moss as actual geo instead. thanks for checking out the project tho!

DRAGUN. Whcih one do you like? The idea behind the dragon is that it's a spirit thingy which aids you on your task as an adorable arm-length pet which floats Haku/ spirited away (aka weeb) style through the air. FhI4C8B.jpg

Yo so I've been working on the puzzles in our temple. Its taken me a while to get to grips with blue prints properly but I made it with help thanks to Lee, Ben and Josiah. Here's what it is looking like:

Update on the temple, 80% of it is not textured and there are more models I plan on making.

Yeeees guys, great work!

Only little nitpick, the gravel floor texture at 0:55 looks a wee bit repeat-y (Especially from that angle)

Loving this project so far though <3

Ah I see that! Thank you so much girl! :p do you have any suggestions for maybe some texturing tweaks that could be used to make the character fit more in the scene? Like tips and tricks to give that stylised painterly feel?

Can you put fishies in it.

There are fishies in your logo. This is very misleading.

We actually have some koi fish they just arent in yet, we are trying to find something to put in the  centre of the village so maybe we can put a fancy pond there with fish

I'm not really sure what to suggest, since I think the character fits in well! (You don't want the character to fit *Too* Much, otherwise it just blends in and is harder to read). Plus the style is fantastic!

I just paint everything in the same style; having the same hand painted shading on Everything and using the same process for everything.

One way you could try to make the character look "more from this area" is to have a pattern somewhere in the world that you find on the character's attire. (E.G, in WQ I have a particular Swirl logo that's on certain items, clothing, banners etc, a sort of emblem)
