hmm the wire is really messy at the moment ,  it is more than twice as epic paragon , which is of course unacceptable... haha,

this is the latest result i have

for now, I am more concern about efficient mesh isolation, still testing out how it will deform properly. but still giving nice silhouette ..


so far the fur give me nerve, I tried 

in unreal engine  the result is super mess especially when having planes flipped and crossed ,

transluent shader definitely not the solution, , ( sorting issue nightmare ) 
Epic paragon shader still give me bit hope, but that still on unreal 4.11 which is i dont have right now, 
so there is workaround using  two sided sign and temporal AA dither  to acheive "transluent" look just like IN MARMOSET without having  ^sorting issue
 
but i gradually manage to tackle the issue

and i still  put my " bet money" on surface constraint rig
to get the  layered cloth and fur deform correctly.

I'd be very interested to know how you get on with making a shader in unreal look like a marmoset skin shader as thats something i've been really wondering how to do to.

the skin shader is actually just the default plug , you need to do some tune up to get the right result. 

 

like having thickness map for example :)

Unreal engine 4.11 preview 2 version -  fur shader test

 

 

 
finally anisotropic shader is here
still has so many bugs, 
like temporal AA not as strong as Unreal 4.9
some post process parameter wont get reset when i tick off.

 

i dont think the stable build will be released soon, but hopefully. before WP game finish.

since im stingy ,not really thinking of buying 15$ pyro asset , 

im trying to create my own ( no  j/k

not stingy , but I better start to learn basic unreal particle than never ) 

 

made from array of 4 fire images 
will test with 24 array of images soon + smoke, gonna be useful for indoor temple torch
