- imagine the 4 coloured stripes as glass neon tubes that start off straight and then get wavy & entangled and fade into the darkness....

The "Likes" system is an absolutely horrible idea.
3dhit should NOT be a popularity contest. Especially the Likes on peoples profile pages, I have a problem with.
Disagree, right now posting many 'your awesomes' in threads can have the same effect, but liking is easier.
It also allows for people to agree with others while retaining few posts.
For instance, 3 people just liked your comment, now you know those 3 agree with you, however would those 3 quote you and say 'agreed'? Not anywhere near as high chance.
It's sometimes hard to get feedback as it is on 3Dhit and people are very opinionated, so on that note I think it's a much needed system
I.e: Crits and feedback on work
The old 3Dhit, someone says something you dont agree with, you perhaps ignore them because it's one opinion against another.
Where as now, if someone gives you feedback and a vast amount of people like the feedback post then it can be taken to far more of an impact.

Anyways, I like playing around with letters, please don't laugh or actually I'm happy if I can make someone happy The bottom two especially are horrific
