Ok so I checked out those topology files (thanks again Marcus) and Im happy enough with the topology. Hopefully no one is gonna come along and tell me its wrong (but if it is please do tell me lol). So I went ahead and Uv'd and did some zbrush projection. The head has a mouth sack (eww) and proper eyelids now too. I then went ahead and tested a displacement map out. Im really happy with how it turned out so far. Ive always had loads of issues with Zbrush displacement but the time i spent trying to fix the shark seems to have payed off because theres only a couple (fixable) issues this time.
Did some quick render tests.
Ignore the little issue at the bottom. Thats just there because I'm too lazy to remove it atm. Now I'm going to try and fix the shoulders up a bit and improve the sculpt overall Including working on the pores a bit as they arent really coming through and making it less symmetrical. Then its on to texturing, eyes, teeth and tongue, then Im gonna make a cigarette for him. Then when all thats done Im going to work on a body, Im thinking like a greaser kinda look, with the leather jacket and vest. Maybe he didn't quite grow out of it. Dunno yet. I really want to rig the whole thing as well. I HATE rigging bodies but I love rigging faces. Any advice for that is appreciated.
Id love some crit on the sculpt as these are i kinda the final stages before I wana leave the sculpt be.
