Oof. I wish I had 1/10th of your talent for drawing characters. Outrageously good as always, keep 'em coming. :)

Oh hey thanks a bunch for the front Neil and the kind words Adam! It's motivating :)

Something from today, only 1-point perspective so I could focus on the light play ha. It's still wip and a character would be nice, it'll be updated soon. Until then, here's a thing!

Spruced it up a little from yesterday, just some subtle stuff. I like having blocks of colour so I try to keep a balance of noise and open space. And thanks RuiShi just saw your comment! Sometimes I want to go in a smooth all the strokes over, but it usually has more appeal before I started doing that lol :)

Good bounce light :) Coming on well (even if it is one point perspective!)

Hey Blanchy! Thanks, colour is my favourite thing! It's what I'll be practicing all summer too lol :)

Spent a couple of hours today not forgetting how to animate, part of something else I'll try to post soon. He's got some kinks and a hell of a strut, but it's given me some useful things to think about. Thank you to Zeyna for some offline feedback!

Late night update! I had a dream about some big star ponds so tried to draw it. I want to keep the immediacy of the solid shape, but tomorrow I still need to work on getting the water set deeper in the rock so they look less like mirrors someones left there, as a friend put it ^^'

Martin once told me 'rocks are not grey', and it still echoes every time I paint!

Did some animals studies today, this one looked mean as hell so I brushed it up and gave it some anthro juice. A Dober-man if you will aaay. I'll let myself out.

This thread is looking really good.  For the painterly images like the one above do you use the same brush or a selection of them?
