Lovely work, I would like to see that rigged.
A couple of things:
Is the topology on the skirt correct? Even thought those are quads, I guess it could be better to have everything in a grid, although I could be wrong, I have no experience on cloth modeling and topology.
.
Secondly, I would tweak the pose so it looks better, at the moment is really riggid and laks power. You have a really similar pose on the center of your moodbox. rotate the hips, trasfer the weight more to one leg, tweak a bit the shoulders... etc. I understand that for modeling you want something as clean and as easy to work with as you can, but for presentation purposes, once the modeling is done, I would work on the pose so the piece looks much better.

did some crappy rigging today to change the pose and blocked out the halberd, will retop tomorrow, because its creased trash at the moment but has the shape I want when I smooth it.

I don't know what you are aiming to with the model, but If you are interested on having a cool pose maybe I could help with that. If you want I can do a couple of skectches or 3D poses with other rigs, and you could send me your model to pose in the way you like.
Sorry if I'm being too annoying with that, but if you are posing the model, makes a ton of difference if the pose is great or not, and your model deserves something cool.

Hey man, because of the time I have left and the fact that it's not really rigged if I was to change the pose drastically then I would have to remake the cloth and reposition alot of the metal, I am just making this as a model and texture piece so I am not following a production pipeline properly hence the cloths topology and modelling to a pose and not T pose.

I want to leave the model as is and just get onto texture as that's what I want to focus on, I wasn't really going for anything that would suggest he was in combat too much, thank you for the feedback though.

He feels a bit floaty right now but I want to place him in churned mud to really show his weight
